Other Business

  1. 25th Anniversary

Preparations are in the final stages for the 25th anniversary celebration. The pool party will include a surprise element, some regular swimming followed by some races and some less-competitive fun events. The celebration will continue in the evening at Victoria Baths, with food to be provided by The Tibetan Kitchen. There will be a free drink on arrival.

  1. Christmas Party

The Christmas party is booked for 2nd December at Whalley Range Lawn Tennis Club, from 7pm until 11pm.

  1. AOB

Website

The club website will be tidied up slightly, and an FAQ page will be added to assist with enquiries from any prospective members.

Instagram

The club is trying to make better use of Instagram as a communications tool.

T-shirts

Note of thanks to Hana for arranging the cotton T-shirt order. The club will keep stock available where possible.

Competition / awards at Christmas

Edwin thought of an idea to run a competition where we ask members to share photographs of them in their club kit in places around the world. The competition can run from 1st December through to 31st November, with a prize being given out at the Christmas party. The competition can begin from this December, with the first prize being awarded in December 2024.
