  1. Chair's Remarks

Swim Mark review has been approved.

  1. Treasurer

Bank balance is around £9750.

Profit and loss account for year-end 31 March 2024 shows a loss of approximately £517.

Monthly income/expenditure accounts show that we are approx. £2.5k in profit YTD.

The club has opened a savings account to earn greater interest on our current balance.

  1. Membership

Average attendance remains good.

  1. Coaching

Coaching continues to go well.

Wednesday sessions now have three coaches who rotate on a weekly basis.

Tuesday sessions continue to be run by Edwin and Tom.

Phil is due to complete his coaching course.

The club is looking to run some longer sessions where possible.

  1. Welfare

Nothing specific to report from Jess.

A welfare issue was discussed ad Jess will follow up appropriately.

Other Business

  1. AGM

Prep is underway for the AGM on 18 May and Phil will circulate an email to members shortly.

  1. MAC Competition

Eric fed back to the committee regarding plans for the 2025 club competition, and this will be launched at the AGM.

  1. Swim Hats

The committee is looking to purchase new swim caps.

  1. Pink News filming

The club has been approached by Pink News who want to film some of our members, but it is unclear exactly what they want to do. The committee will ask for further information before considering this in more detail.

  1. Moss Side cage

The equipment cage at Moss Side is broken and we are looking to remedy this.

  1. AOB

Pride Entry

Andrew is hoping to coordinate a theme so that our members attend the parade either in club kit, or in a coordinated outfit. He will discuss further at the next meeting.
