AGM
Last weekend we held the Club AGM. Thanks to everyone who was able to attend - it really does help to have input from the wider club membership. Due to other commitments, Pete Jennings is unable to continue in the role of Co-Chair but due to no one else coming forward, he has agreed to continue in a reduced capacity as Vice Chair. Marie Coquet was elected as Saturday Rep. The posts of Communication Rep (general marketing) and Social Rep remain unfilled. If anyone feels they would be interested in either role further down the line please speak to one of the committee as there may be an option to co-opt before the next AGM. Minutes from the meeting are available on the club website for anyone who was unable to attend.
Membership Poll
During the AGM a discussion was had regarding a potential new session and the Northern Wave 25th Birthday celebration. Following on from that we would be grateful if you would answer a few quick questions to help us plan both these things.
Volunteers
We are looking for volunteers. This year's pride parade is fast approaching and we are looking for someone to coordinate our entry. This is mainly to act as a point of contact and communicate any arrangements to members but there is also the option to come up with an idea to make more of what we do. The theme of this year's parade is Queerly Beloved.
We are also looking for people to help organise an event to celebrate the club's 25th anniversary in the Autumn. The details of this are not confirmed as yet but we are looking at an afternoon pool event followed by an evening party.

Pool Party
This year's pool party is being held at Marbury Park on July 1st 7pm - 9pm. You can get your tickets for this in advance at any of our weekly sessions. Full details can be found here.
