Chair's Remarks
Swim Mark documents have been approved for another year.
Treasurer
Bank balance remains stable but there are some costs on the horizon which will require the club to utilise monies that had been transferred into a savings account.
GLL Price Increases
GLL are increasing their prices by 5% this year, across all sites.
The club will need to implement changes to our pricing structure and options will be presented to members at the next AGM.
SE Fees
The club currently pays Swim England fees for first year members, and annual fees for all concession members. Due to the financial constraints that the club will face with GLL’s price increases, this current arrangement will need to be considered. Options will be presented to members at the next AGM.
Membership
Membership figures remain stable.
Coaching
Daniele has now signed up to his level 2 coaching course.
We will be consolidating equipment with Manchester Tri Club at Moss Side, and we are enquiring as to having our own equipment at the MAC.
Extended sessions will run on a Tuesday over the summer months to prepare for our competition.
Welfare

Other Business
Committee positions / upcoming AGM
We have received nominations which will see all vacant committee positions filled at the AGM.
Competition update
Entries are building for our competition in August.
We will run a timing session for Northern Wave swimmers to obtain their event times so that they can enter.
Use of earphones in coached lanes
To ensure that swimmers in coached lanes can hear all instruction from the coach, the use of headphones will only be permitted in the social lanes.

The club has received an offer from an event photographer to take photos of our sessions for use on social media / our website. We will be making enquiries as to availability and fees.

Saturday, 26 April is Manchester marathon and swimmers may face difficulty getting to the MAC.
