We're delighted to confirm that the Northern Wave Christmas meal and party will be held on Saturday 7 December at South West Manchester Cricket Club from 7:30pm.
As usual, the party is open to all (NW members and partners, friends etc.) with no cost to attend. We'll also cover your first drink, and the bar will be open all night.
Once again we're asking you to don aprons and chef's hats (or make a dash to your local supermarket) and bring something to contribute to the buffet. In an effort to make sure we don't end up with too many mince pies (if such a thing is possible), and to give us an idea of numbers, please let us know who and what you are bringing here.
Awards
The club runs a series of annual awards ranging from the very light-hearted (e.g. the Barry Cox diving award) to the more serious Gill Wright Award, awarded to a member who has made a significant contribution to the club or overcome challenges in the year. Please send any nominations and award ideas to the committee.
In addition to the usual merriment, we're also planning a raffle (run by Heather - remember to bring some cash!) and possibly some other organised fun (Andrew and I will be strongly encouraging participation).
